Description
These taco ranch bites are perfect for party appetizers, combining Tex-Mex flavors with creamy ranch dressing for a crowd-pleasing treat.
Ingredients
1 pound Ground beef
1 packet Taco seasoning
1 tablespoon Ranch dressing mix (dry)
4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
2 cans (8 ounces each) Refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons Green onions, chopped
1/2 cup Ranch dressing (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat once the beef is fully cooked
- Add taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix to the beef. Stir in about 1/4 cup water and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened
- Soften the cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl for about 20 seconds. Mix it with the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles
- Place about a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto each dough piece. Add a small dollop of the cheese mixture on top
- Fold the dough around the filling, pinching edges to seal completely. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Let them cool for 3-4 minutes before serving
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with ranch dressing for dipping
Notes
Make sure to seal the edges well to prevent leaking during baking.
You can freeze unbaked bites for later use.
