Description

This pumpkin pie easy dessert for Thanksgiving takes less than 15 minutes to prep and is perfect for gathering around the table. The warm spices blend beautifully with the creamy pumpkin filling, creating a classic pumpkin pie taste that everyone loves.

1 Unbaked 9-inch pie crust
15 oz Pure pumpkin puree
14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
2 Large eggs
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamo
½ teaspoon Ground ginger
½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
½ teaspoon Salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F
  2. Place your unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan and press it gently into the bottom and sides
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and eggs. Whisk until smooth
  4. Add the spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt) and whisk again until evenly distributed
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, filling it almost to the top
  6. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F and continue baking for another 35-40 minutes
  7. The pie is done when the edges are set but the center jiggles slightly. Let it cool completely on a wire rack
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving

Notes

Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.

Let the pie cool completely for the best texture.

You can make this pie a day ahead for better flavor.
