Description
These lobster croissant rolls combine buttery, flaky croissants with sweet, tender lobster meat for a bite-sized indulgence that impresses at any gathering.
Ingredients
2 tubes (8 oz each) Refrigerated croissant dough
1 pound Cooked lobster meat
4 oz Cream cheese
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons Fresh chives
1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Butter
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well-blended
- Step 3: Gently fold the chopped lobster meat into the cream cheese mixture
- Step 4: Unroll the croissant dough and separate it into individual triangles
- Step 5: Place about one tablespoon of the lobster mixture at the wide end of each triangle
- Step 6: Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, tucking in the sides as you go
- Step 7: Brush the tops of each roll with melted butter
- Step 8: Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the rolls turn golden brow
- Step 9: Let the rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving
Notes
Use quality brand croissant dough for best results.
Pat the lobster meat dry before mixing to avoid soggy rolls.
Always use cold croissant dough for easier handling.
