Description
These elegant lemon marbled cheesecake bars combine tangy lemon and smooth vanilla for a heavenly flavor profile. They are visually stunning and surprisingly simple to make, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
½ cup Melted butter
1 cup Granulated sugar
24 oz Cream cheese
3 Large eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
¼ cup Fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons Lemon zest
½ cup Sour cream
2–3 drops Yellow food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar in a bowl. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes
- Beat cream cheese and ¾ cup sugar together until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and sour cream
- Pour about two-thirds of the batter over the cooled crust. To the reserved batter, add lemon juice, lemon zest, and food coloring. Mix well
- Drop spoonfuls of the lemon batter over the vanilla layer and swirl with a toothpick
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set but the center jiggles slightly. Cool in the oven for 1 hour
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for a smooth batter.
Don't overbake to prevent dryness.
Fresh lemon juice is recommended for the best flavor.
