2 tablespoons Butter
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Pepperoncini peppers, sliced
1/4 cup Pepperoncini juice
1/2 cup Chicken broth
1 cup Heavy cream
4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For garnish Fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Step 1: Start by pounding the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 3/4 inch. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper
  2. Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil shimmers, add the chicken breasts carefully. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F. Transfer the chicken to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm
  3. Step 3: Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant
  4. Step 4: Pour in the pepperoncini juice and chicken broth. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let this mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly
  5. Step 5: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and softened cream cheese. Whisk continuously until the cream cheese melts completely and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy
  6. Step 6: Add the sliced pepperoncini peppers and Italian seasoning. Stir everything together and let the sauce simmer gently for another 2-3 minutes
  7. Step 7: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon the creamy sauce over the top. Let everything simmer together for 2-3 minutes

Notes
