Description

Creamy garlic parmesan chicken spaghetti is a comforting and satisfying dish that combines tender chicken, perfectly cooked spaghetti, and a luscious garlic parmesan cream sauce. It's quick to prepare, making it perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

12 oz Spaghetti pasta
1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Olive oil
3 tablespoons Butter
6 cloves Garlic, minced
2 cups Heavy cream
1 cup Chicken broth
1.5 cups Freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining
  2. While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and half the Italian seasoning. Cut them into bite-sized pieces
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pa
  6. Add the heavy cream and remaining Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally
  7. Gradually add the parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until it melts completely into the sauce
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the drained spaghetti and toss everything together. If the sauce seems too thick, add some reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency
  9. Taste and adjust seasonings. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan cheese before serving

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan cheese for the best texture.

Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
