Description

Cranberry turkey stuffing balls are a delightful way to use Thanksgiving leftovers, combining turkey, stuffing, and cranberries into a convenient, flavorful bite. They are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, making them a favorite for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups Cooked turkey, finely chopped
4 cups Prepared stuffing, cooled
1 cup Dried cranberries, chopped
2 large Eggs, lightly beate
1/2 cup Chicken or turkey broth
4 oz Cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Olive oil or cooking spray for baking

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them with cooking spray
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped turkey, prepared stuffing, and chopped cranberries. Mix gently
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, broth, softened cream cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
  4. Step 4: Pour the wet ingredients over the turkey-stuffing mixture and fold until cohesive
  5. Step 5: Form the mixture into balls about 2 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheets
  6. Step 6: Lightly brush or spray the tops with olive oil
  7. Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes, rotating halfway through, until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F
  8. Step 8: Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving

Notes

Make sure your stuffing isn't too wet to prevent mushy balls.

Use a cookie scoop for uniform sizing to ensure even cooking.

Consider freezing formed balls before baking for quick meals later.
