Description

These Christmas tree brownies combine rich, fudgy brownies with simple decorating fun that makes the holiday season even more magical. Perfect for baking with kids or bringing a show-stopping dessert to gatherings.


Ingredients

4 Large eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
3/4 cup Cocoa powder
1 cup All-purpose flour

2 cups Cream cheese frosting
Green food coloring As needed
Sprinkles and candies For decoratio
Star-shaped candies For tree tops


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in sugar until well combined and let cool slightly
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract
  4. Sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes
  7. Cool completely in the pan, then lift out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares, then diagonally to form triangles
  8. Mix green food coloring into cream cheese frosting until desired shade is achieved
  9. Frost each triangle and decorate with sprinkles, candies, and star toppers
