Ingredients

24 sheets Graham crackers
16 oz Cream cheese, softened
2 cups Powdered sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
3 cups Heavy whipping cream
2 boxes Instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz each)
3 cups Whole milk
Few drops Green food coloring (gel preferred)
Few drops Red food coloring (gel preferred)
1 cup Mini chocolate chips
½ cup Crushed candy canes
½ cup Maraschino cherries, chopped


Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by lightly spraying it with cooking spray
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture
  4. Prepare the pudding by whisking both boxes with milk for 2 minutes and let it sit until it thickens slightly
  5. Divide the remaining whipped cream into two bowls, adding green food coloring to one and red to the other
  6. Place a single layer of graham crackers on the bottom of your dish
  7. Spread half the cream cheese mixture over the graham crackers
  8. Add another layer of graham crackers and spread all the vanilla pudding over this layer
  9. Layer more graham crackers, then spread the green whipped cream and sprinkle mini chocolate chips
  10. Add another graham cracker layer and spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over these crackers
  11. Place a final layer of graham crackers and top with the red whipped cream
  12. Garnish with crushed candy canes and chopped maraschino cherries. Cover tightly with plastic wrap
  13. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight

Notes

Use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps.

Gel food coloring produces more vibrant colors than liquid versions.

Let the dessert sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing for clean cuts.
