Description

Cheesy ranch potatoes and smoked sausage is a one-pan wonder that combines crispy baby potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and tangy ranch seasoning, topped with melted cheddar cheese. It's an easy, budget-friendly meal perfect for busy families.

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds Baby potatoes, halved or quartered
14 ounces Smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
3 tablespoons Olive oil
1 packet (1 ounce) Ranch seasoning mix
2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Black pepper
2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray
  2. Step 2: Wash and halve your baby potatoes. If they're larger, quarter them instead. Place the potatoes in a large mixing bowl
  3. Step 3: Slice your smoked sausage into ½-inch rounds. Add them to the bowl with the potatoes
  4. Step 4: Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and sausage. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper over everything. Toss thoroughly to coat every piece
  5. Step 5: Spread the mixture in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet. Don't overcrowd the pa
  6. Step 6: Bake for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through
  7. Step 7: Remove the pan from the oven. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Return to the oven for 5 minutes
  8. Step 8: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately

Notes

For a spicier version, use pepper jack cheese or add cayenne pepper.
