Ingredients
1/3 cup Chia seeds
1 1/2 cups Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1 1/2 cups Apples, diced
2–3 tablespoons Maple syrup or honey
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamo
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the chia seeds, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Whisk everything together thoroughly to prevent clumping
- Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then whisk again to ensure a creamy texture
- Dice your apples into small pieces and fold them gently into the chia mixture
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to individual jars. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
- Before serving, stir the pudding and add a splash of milk if desired. Top with fresh apple slices or nuts
