Description

This air fryer steak recipe simplifies everything, delivering incredible flavor with minimal cleanup. It produces a tender, flavorful steak that rivals anything from a steakhouse, ready in under 15 minutes.


Ingredients

2 steaks (8-10 oz each) Ribeye or New York strip steaks (1-inch thick)
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper (freshly ground)
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
2 tablespoons Butter (optional)
2 sprigs Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme, optional)


Instructions

  1. Remove your steaks from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking and pat them dry with paper towels
  2. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes
  4. Place the steaks in the basket without overcrowding and cook for 6 minutes
  5. Flip the steaks carefully using tongs and continue cooking for another 4-6 minutes depending on desired doneness
  6. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing
