Description

This air fryer rotisserie chicken delivers restaurant-quality results right in your kitchen. It cooks in nearly half the time of a traditional oven-roasted chicken, creating incredibly crispy skin while keeping the meat tender and juicy inside.


Ingredients

1 whole chicken (34 pounds)
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 teaspoons Paprika
1 tablespoon Garlic powder
1 tablespoon Onion powder
1 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Dried oregano
1 tablespoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
1 whole Lemon (optional)


Instructions

  1. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and pat it completely dry with paper towels
  2. Rub the olive oil all over the chicken, coating both the outside and inside the cavity thoroughly
  3. In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well
  4. Generously season the entire chicken with the spice mixture, rubbing it under the skin and inside the cavity
  5. If using lemon, cut it in half and place both halves inside the chicken cavity
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F for about 5 minutes
  7. Place the seasoned chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for 30 minutes at 360°F
  8. Carefully flip the chicken breast-side up using tongs and a spatula. Continue cooking for another 25-30 minutes
  9. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. The chicken is done when it reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the breast and thigh
  10. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving
