Description

These air fryer chicken thighs are crispy, juicy, and ready in less than 30 minutes, making them perfect for busy weeknights. They are easy to prepare, require minimal cleanup, and can be customized with various seasonings.


Ingredients

2 pounds Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Dried thyme


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels
  2. Brush each chicken thigh lightly with olive oil
  3. Combine garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and thyme in a small bowl
  4. Generously season both sides of the chicken thighs with the spice mixture
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes
  6. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket skin-side dow
  7. Cook for 12 minutes at 400°F, then flip the chicken thighs carefully
  8. Continue cooking skin-side up for another 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F
  9. Let the chicken thighs rest for 5 minutes before serving

Notes

For extra crispy skin, increase the temperature to 425°F for the final 3 minutes.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
