Description

These air fryer chicken bites are crispy, versatile, and quick to prepare, making them a family favorite for busy weeknights. They are healthier than traditional fried chicken and can be served as appetizers, in lunchboxes, or as a main dish.


Ingredients

1.5 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
2 large Eggs
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
As needed Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, roughly 1-inch cubes
  2. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third
  3. Coat each chicken piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then press into the breadcrumb mixture
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes and spray the basket with cooking spray
  5. Arrange breaded chicken bites in a single layer in the basket, spray the tops lightly with cooking spray
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flip each piece, spray again lightly, and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F

Notes

For gluten-free, substitute flour with almond flour and use gluten-free breadcrumbs.

For a dairy-free option, omit Parmesan cheese.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
