Description
This air fryer Cajun shrimp dinner is quick, flavorful, and hearty, perfect for busy families. It features large shrimp seasoned with Cajun spices, cooked to perfection in an air fryer, and served over rice or pasta.
Ingredients
1.5 pounds Large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
2 tablespoons Olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cooked rice or pasta for serving
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels and place them in a large mixing bowl
- Drizzle olive oil over the shrimp. Add Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the shrimp are evenly coated
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes
- Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket
- Cook the shrimp for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through
- Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve
Notes
Always use thawed shrimp for best results.
